The John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2005 with the aim of continuing John S. Latsis’ legacy and dedication to public benefit work.
The Foundation plans, manages and funds programmes in a wide range of fields, such as education, science, arts and culture and social welfare and development, developing collaborations with civil society actors as well as key organizations in these fields. An additional, diversified branch of activities is the operation of the Neraida Floating Museum.
The Foundation's approach to the funding process prioritises the immediate relief of vulnerable social groups, the improvement of infrastructure, the strengthening of NGOs, the development of social structures, the rewarding of academic and research work and the promotion of the cultural wealth of Greece.
